To launch the new BBLB site on the E4 site, there's an interview with Dermot, where he talks about the first week of Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack and his thoughts on what he would do as a hijacker.

Dermot's last Big Brother show starts this Thursday. Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack allows celebrities to take on the role of Big Brother overseeing a talented group of young housemates. Launch show is on Channel 4 at 9pm on Thursday. See Channel 4 for more details.

Also returning for Dermot's last series in charge is Big Brother's Little Brother. BBLB will be on E4 at 7.30pm on weekdays and Sunday's at 7pm.

This week Dermot announced that he is quitting Big Brother's Little Brother, and will not present the show next Summer.

"This summer's work commitment of BBLB and The X Factor has proven to me that to do both shows is impractical if not impossible. I want to thank Channel 4 and the Big Brother family for all their support and for the opportunity to present a live show that I love with all my heart."

He will, however, be presenting a new spin off show, Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack in January, but this will be his last involvement in Big Brother.

The spin-off show, Big Brother's Big Brain hosted by Dermot has been axed for Big Brother 8. However it has been confirmed that Dermot will continue to host BBLB despite his new X-Factor commitment. From Digital Spy.
